Jackson Street Culvert Project Cost: $550,000 OPWC Assistance: $110,000 The project involved resurfacing the following roads in Lowellville, River Road from the west Village limits east to Washington Street; Washington Street from River Road to Jackson Street; and on Jackson Street from Washington Street east to the Village limits. New Central Water Tower Project Cost: $4,594,838 OPWC Assistance: $1,075,000 The project is located at the south end of Piqua in the Sherry Industrial Park off of Fox Drive. Southgate Farm Property Acquisition Project Cost: $3,010,000 OPWC Assistance: $1,500,000 This project acquired Southgate Farm as an open space project in order to enhance the natural areas, preserve the high quality wetlands and native plants and animals, and serve as a link with existing local, state, and private parkland and regional pedestrian corridors in the area. « Back to Articles
